Find a teaching job?
We don't list our jobs on our site for a few reasons. You might spend hours on the Internet trying to find a suitable job, and many jobs become unavailable within a week or so, which means you have to start searching all over again. This takes precious time.
Instead, we will present you with jobs that match your preferences, and you can apply for the positions that we screen for you. The process is more personal and fits you! We won't send you so many jobs that you won't know how to choose. For example, if you are interested in teaching elementary school children in a coastal city, we will only present you with jobs that fit these criteria. And if you are interested in applying for a job that we show you, then we will recommend you to that school's directors. If the directors decline your application, then we will discuss your alternatives, which may include looking beyond your first choice of location, broadening your target age group, or extending your teaching hours.
Many school directors and managers are very choosy with their applicants; some request teachers within a specific age range, some want applicants with previous experience, others request a specific nationality, some prefer a specific gender to balance their staff.
When will you present me with a job offer?
We will present you with offers as soon as we receive your resume and photo and have a phone conversation with you. We want you to feel comfortable working with us, thus a phone conversation is important! It makes communication much easier and also clarifies details in a way that sending emails back and forth cannot. If your interview with the school goes well, then the job will be formally offered. There are many variables that affect the outcome of a teacher's application: your resume, photo , cover letter, and a recruiter's input are the most important factors in securing a good job.
