Procedures
Are you ready to teach English in Korea?
The process is very easy to follow. First, one of the most important things is to keep a strong communication line open with us. We want to help you to find a suitable job and so would greatly appreciate if you explained your situation fully to us and keep us updated about your status. Make sense? If so, here's what the process involves:
Your Resume and Photo
Your first step is to send us your resume, photo, as well as an explanation of what you're looking for. Let us know the details of your dream job and any other information we should know.
Follow Up for More Information
We will send you an e-mail containing essential information to help you understand what your job will be like. We'll also ask for some of your preferences, if you haven't given them already, like what age group you'd like to teach; and we'll ask for any other material we may need (like pictures, etc.).
Initial Phone Conversation
Once we gather all of your information, we will contact you by phone to learn more about you and let you know about available positions. If the applicant is in Korea, a personal interview will take place. If a personal interview is not feasible due to distance, then a telephone interview will be conducted. Rest assured that we will talk to you first about potential jobs. We want to make you feel comfortable with us and not make you feel like you are dealing with a stranger.
Job Matching and Interview with Prospective Employers
Once we learn about your personality and find out what you are looking for, we will contact the schools that fit you best, based on your experience and preferences. If a school is interested in you, we will set up an interview in person or by phone, and the school will answer any questions you may have. In addition, you may have a chance to speak with a foreign teacher at that school, which will give you a chance to ask any questions you may have and to make sure you are going to the right place.
Obtaining an E2 Working Visa
If the interview goes well, we will forward the contract to you. If you and the school are satisfied and want to move ahead, you can sign the contract, the visa process will begin, and you will be on your way to Korea! When you start the visa process, we will give you more specific instructions as needed.
Book Flights and Pack Your Bags! :)
Once you get your working visa (E2), we will book a flight for you. Once you confirm your schedule with us, the school will purchase your ticket!
That's it!! :)
