We are looking for Conversational English Teaching Assistants to assist native Thai English teachers in
the north or the south of Thailand.
Working in poorer communities, you will be assisting the school with whatever they need on a basic level - English, ICT, Maths teaching etc. Some schools only have 50 students split between high school and primary school, others have over 200 secondary or primary school students. The Thai's want your Western accent, and this will be the main focus of your stay. There are some costs involved, and fund-raising sponsor forms are available. For the price of £299 for one month up to £549 for three months, it's actually less than most people's rent for the month. All food and accommodation with a Thai family will be provided.
So if you don't know what to do for your summer why not teach in Thailand and explore that wonderful country?
This is a Thai cultural experience, there will be tourist things to do obviously, but we want those who are ready to delve into a very different culture and do a very noble work.
