Gwangju city is one of the major cities in Korea, yet still has Korean traditional culture. Surrounding cities of Gwangju have preserved Korean traditional houses, temples and architecture. It is a beautiful, clean and well-developed city in southern Korea. It is located in the middle of an eight-peak mountain range and is very famous for hiking and temples. It has a new subway system that makes travel to any part of the city very quick and convenient.
