ASSISTANT LANGUAGE TEACHERS (ALTs)
FOR Tochigi, FUJIOKA, ASHIKAGA, & OTA
(April 2010 Term)
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a native of the US, the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and with a bachelor’s degree.
MUST HAVE an international driving license.
CONTRACT PERIOD: One year
SALARY: 230,000yen/month. From this, income tax will be deducted.
AUGUST: Conditions vary.
A.Some Boards of Education require the ALTs to work in the summer. In such cases, ALTs receive the full salary.
B.In some cities, ALTs get the full month off. ALTs do not get paid. Fifth only pays for the August apartment rent.
HOUSING:Fifth pays for the key money and deposit; teacher pays for the monthly rent and utilities.
VISA: Fifth provides full visa sponsorship. We will process the working visa before teachers come to Japan. Visa cost will be reimbursed upon completion of the one-year contract.
