The housing conditions in Korea are pretty good with all of the necessary appliances that you would need or expec, such as microwave, closets, stove, refrigerator, bed, table and chairs and sometimes even TV, radio, and a VCR or DVD.
Some employers will provide furnished apartments for the teachers with two to three people share one apartment.
There is a laundry machine and a drying rack as well. There isn't a dryer but the clothes dry pretty quickly. You will also have plates and basic cooking utensils. All the basic necessities will be provided.
If you have to find yourself a place to stay, housing conditions in Korea are quite nice with all of the facilities that you would need or expect. However, it is pricy. There are three types of payment for leasing a house or apartment. You can chose key money payment, monthly rental with a deposit that is usually ten times of the rent or advance rental payment for the entire term of the lease. No matter which option you chose, it requires a lot of cash up front.
